Boston still doesn't have cap space to swap rentals for prospects. And that's ignoring the fact that they've publicly said they were unwilling to part with Subban. - TheSabresTaco
There's always a deal to be done - regardless of who says what. Sabres have cap space for Boston to unload, and the Bruins would only need to free up $500,000. |

ron rolston figured out how to use coho, nolan has not
give rolston his jack adams - homiedclown
If memory serves me Coho had a good second half of the year under Nolan last year. Several guys improved once Rolston left. The guy clearly doesn't care this year.

Fwiw, 89 mentioned not too long ago that the bruins wanted Stewart, Armia and another asset that i forget for Subban.
So yes there's always a deal to be done but whether it's any good for us is up for debate. |

I cant remember anyone wishing injuries upon someone from the sabres, or wishing for risto zadorov and girgensons to be traded because "every little bit helps"
If you were all in on the tank from the beginning why should that be any different now? I feel for girgensons and hope he has a perfect recovery, in a time frame that doesnt allow him to return this season.
What is wrong with that? |

Still can not believe Shea Weber had 47 HBSL points last night without registering a point. |

yep and a +2.
Just a high score with no points.
Imagine he scored and assisted on 1, it might have been the highest ever. |

"This year, the biggest prize may be Boston University goalie Matt O'Connor. O'Connor has a sterling 2.07 GAA and an equally impressive .931 save percentage, all while racking up 16 wins this season for the Hockey East-leading Terriers. Another certain BU player may have gotten a bit more attention from Sabres fans this season, but O'Connor should be a close second.
Most NCAA free agents typically want one thing when they sign, and that's guaranteed playing time. O'Connor would get that in Buffalo, provided his level of play translates well.
If anything it's a low-risk flier on a 6'5" netminder, who has played fantastically this season. It's not too much of a stretch to think that without Jack Eichel standing in front of him, O'Connor would be a Hobey Baker finalist. " |

You would think that between the opportunity to start and *hopefully* the addition one of his current teammates that we would be very attractive to him. |
