finishing last guarantees a 2nd pick at the very least (unless I missed something this off season) so last is the golden ticket. it gives a chance at 1, but at least gives us 2

I just don't get why some here are getting their panties in a bunch. We're still 30th and it won't change anytime soon.

And the thing that really gets me is that the players on this team think that winning is the best thing right now. They think they're making the fans happy when, in turn, they are making us sick to their stomachs.

I can't even put into words how I feel right now. If they don't pick in the top 2 this year, I'm honestly not sure I will ever forgive this team. I'll still watch.....and still cheer in the years to come and hope we win because I'm a fan, but I will never forget this and I will never forgive them unless we win a Cup.

Absolutely sick right now. They will never get another chance like this again and they are blowing it.......It was handed to them on a silver platter and they just thew it in the trash and it makes me sick.

He's too good to not go third. Whether it's the sabres or another team. The only thing worse than missing out on McEichel is reaching for a forward at three when it's pretty clear cut decision.

Soon, as in possibly within 2 games we could be tied for 29th with the yotes and the oilers in 30th. If that's not soon, I'd love to know what is.

Players play for a living, it's what they love to do, so there isn't one player that would want to tank, and I wouldn't want them to. They shouldn't have to tank, I mean it would really suck to be told to lose or be penalized.

Coaches on the other hand can still let the players play, but have them run plays that are far riskier than normal or rotate lines frequently to let them play, but put the team in a worse position

I think the more sensible thought process is to just see what our roster looks like after Monday. We're on the road for the next several games and we could lose them all.

Oh I'll be the first to admit my errors of worrying and complaining, as I have pessimistic blood (got that from my mother's side ) but playing with fire can really burn
