Yea just like how he talked so highly about the guys in last years draft.
I don't think there isn't a single mock draft between now and the start of this year that has anyone but Hanifin in that third slot. - Sabresfan-365
Craig Button's latest has Hanifin at 5 i think. |

Did you look at the schedule of us, Yotes and oil to come to that conclusion? Or are you just overreacting because of one game? - mhp
A little of A and B.
Yotes by their schedule really only have 7 winnable games +/- 2 with their current tank and 2 of them are against us. We will crush them if they play like they have been and we play like we have been. Out of their next 12 before us, only the 2 against the Nucks and NJ and maybe LA do I see them actually winning, but again, they always find a way to lose so it won't matter who they play.
The oilers are playing with way too much lackluster to count out.
If we were to go on a 5 game win streak, which is completely possible as evidence from earlier in the season, it could spell very bad news, b/c if that 30th spot is relinquished that means we have to get it back and both the yotes and oilers will not let that happen |

He's not a franchise player like McDavid or Eichel - SABRES 89
Nope.
The goal should be McEichel end of story. |

The players that have been instrumental in that will probably be gone. Aside from this game it's basically been neuvirth stealing the points.
If they trade him and start lindback it doesn't matter how many players the yotes and oilers trade. |

Or we could lose 16 straight. Wouldn't that be nice if that happened again. |

If they blow this, I honestly believe I will stop following them forever. I've never been this invested in a team, and when they win, it hurts 5x more than the joy of a playoff win. I am sick about this. |

I haven't watch all the games but IMO, our goalie needs to stand on his head for us to have any chance of winning. If our goalies get cold, we could easily lose 10 straight. |

And this chance will become virtually zero if Neuvirth is dealt. We will eventually run into a starting goalie as well, that'll probably help. |

That's true, ans as others have said, with Girgs out and stewart and possibly Neuiverth gone that can all change, but I would really like to have a nice 8 point cushion like we had thought we were going to have at the deadline |

The team who possesses the puck more and gets more shots on goal wins most of the time. Neuvirth won't be here. Take him out and put in Hackett or Lindback and the same way both teams are playing right now is probably 5-2 Arizona. |

Have to agree... because the league will screw us at the lottery we've already resigned ourselves to the fact we have a slim to none chance at getting McDavid. I long ago started thinking Eichel. But this points streak is more than I can take. Resigning to Strome or Marner is beyond painful. Is it too much to have what Pittsburgh and Chicago were afforded? |

Goalie is def the key, but I don't always agre with TOP and shots. I've seen countless games where the sabs or other teams dominate the stat sheet, then a player like crosby or kane sets up 2 goals in two minutes and that teams wins. those stats are better to have on your side, but I wouldn't bank on that determining the game see the yotes as we've discussed so much already. They could shoot 50 times and possess the puck for 55 mins, but they would let up two goals at just the wrong time, every time |
