I know losing is what's best but this is all 100% on the team and just about every fan on this board. They picked this strategy and it was either going to yield a top 2 or the most miserable 82 games for the franchise.

The best team in the league doesn't always win it all and the worst roster doesn't always finish last. There's a reality check and it's slowly setting in. Blaming the team for screwing this up is just silly. They don't care about 30th

Anything less then McEichel is a FAIL, no other players will turn this team around not Hanifan or Strome.

Agreed but you do have to look at the alternatives unfortunately.

Except finishing last isn't awarded via a 4 round playoff, its strictly points based. The worst team will be the worst team as they will have the worst record in the nhl.

This team's probably 15-20 pts clear of 2nd last if they've got scrivens and Fasth instead of Neuvirth and Enroth/Lindback.

He's on a path as Reinhart but isn't as defensively sound. Why I think he will need a year in the A also. I like him but we will have him and Reinhart as our top centers, will remind me of all those Sabres teams that couldn't get it done because we had a team of "number 2" centers and no number 1

One thing Nolan has always done is give the goalie a chance to succeed.

Nah, coach has plenty to do with it, they brought him in for this reason, if not they would have let some assistant take the reigns for the year. If lindback played hot than so be it, but we're not getting the chance to see it that happens.

I've watched a lot of their games, those two goalies have given up a lot of timely stinkers. I don't think their defence is that much worse and if it is they make up for it up front.

Reinhart is a number one center just as much as Malkin is one. It's just the hope of having him play behind a better talent.
