C'mon, dude hasn't played more than 10 games in the NHL and he's no malkin. Nothing against him as i think he could be a number 1 centre but there are enough questions there to think that he may never reach that potential.

I've watched a lot of their games, those two goalies have given up a lot of timely stinkers. I don't think their defence is that much worse and if it is they make up for it up front.

Their defense is horrible and their forwards don't help them out in the least.


Funny Duby was thought of as a stiff in Edmonton.

Showed different in Arizona (where he outplayed Smith big time) and Minny.

You have to give the guy a fighting chance back there, something Edmonton doesn't do.

Reinhart is no malkin. He is not a goal scorer like many of the top centers in the league. He is suited to be a awesome #2 center. Lining him up to be a #1 is playing guys out of position like we have for years

In all seriousness, last year was a rollercoaster ride to last, too. There were some nervous times.

Granted, there was no McEichel last year, but I think it's going to be a white-knuckler right to the end.

It's not as bad as ours has been and it seems to be better than last year. Both goalies have given up some bad goals on low quality shots.

Im not dismissing him, I'm just pointing out that he's just as likely to be #2 center as he is to being Evegeni Malkin.

It's likely he falls somewhere in between. Can it be done without McEichel? Sure it's possible but after everything this year and having it within our grasps it would be an absolute waste to have it go away because of some UFA's.

Reinhart reminds me of Ron Francis, nothing flashy but skilled and very smart. Capable of being a number 1 guy but it would be a dream to have him as your number 2. I hope he has a career like Francis, that would be a spectacular.

b) Start praying real hard your football team turns it around

I can't believe how far the #2 pick in last years draft has fallen already.

He will be a #1 center in this league even with McEichel.

It's just the hope of having 2 #1 centers on this team that has clouded some's judgement IMO.
