Hahaha I just want a no non sense D that will kill a guy when he tries to drive the net. Just like how they have been in need of a top 6 forward, I think we need a D that will make the other team think twice about standing in front or driving the net.

I vote we trade Kevin bieska to St. Louis for Ty Rattie and a 2016 first. Then trade higgins and Stanton to Dallas for Brett Ritchie and a 2nd. (Maybe a 3rd or 4th) (optimistic) .Then we can play vey as a Center between them and he can recreate what he had in Manchester with Pearson and toffoli

He is a defencemen! His job is not to score it's to keep the puck out.
Edit: if you want to be blind and base it on points. Edler 5 million a year. 2 more points then Tanev. Hamhuis has 12 bieska has 9 and they make 4.5 and 4.6 so that means he would be around the 4.5-5 range which puts him the same range as Brodie!
