I'm too lazy to look it up, but I'd be curious to see what the Canucks combined record is against current playoff teams. It might just be the current trip, but I feel like the Canucks have surprisingly done well against the better teams and lost some games we all thought they'd win. I could be wrong though.

It certainly has felt that way of late. For most of 2014 it felt like we were winning every single game we should have + the odd extra here and there.

LA would have felt extremely confident in their ability at making another cup run. More so than anyone else (now that Kane is on LTIR). They've been lacking that component Sekera brings since Voynov left. I highly doubt anyone else would have paid that price.
