I don't like Nickelback. And they're (frank)ing awful. - John Jaeckel
Nickelback vs. Creed. That would be one of the best battle of bands ever. Might as well throw the Eagles in there and you have a trio of hacks. |

My wife loves them and nights when we party and do music sometimes I have to listen to them. I will admit that Last Day song is OK, the words are pretty good.
I typically like progressive rock/metal, but diverge all over the place. Only music I really can't stand is pop, most hiphop and modern country music. |

There's value in sitting on that much non renewable energy and being the last one standing with oil - furso27
Not the asinine way we're doing it though. All those jobs which could be had right here in NA.
Still hoping the Loonie gets up to 90¢ on the USD, not practical but still hoping. |

Wasn't Mark Tremonti the guitarist from Alter Bridge in Creed though? That guy is awesome.

The Saudis are going for market share. The real question is how much output capacity there is at the lower extraction costs in relation to market demand. If there's not enough, then yes, oil's reascent will continue. Wherever the expensive extraction costs are, I don't think the Saudis believe they have anything at risk by alienation of such places.
Keep in mind that there are possible influences on the demand side, also. China is slowing down, and Europe now has deflation. And slowly but surely, alternative energy is making gains in the marketplace. This could be part of why the Saudis would jump the gun and turn it into a market share game. - 333inthe3rd
dont agree
the saudis are doing the bidding of the united states who want to hurt russia.financially
by driving down the price of oil. the bigger picture is the united states empire building in the ukrane |

Yes he is. Check out his "Tremonti" thing...it's pure metal and it's good. Tremonti can freaking play and his reference points are old Metallica. He's legit. Scott Stapp is UGGH. |

On the upswing for sure. BUt definitely pretenders when it comes to being a cup threat. - Vark37
They could make noise and maybe even come out of the east with Sharp and Bickell added to that lineup. Gudbranson and Barkov are obviously non starters. Gudbranson and Ekblad look like their version of Keith and Seabrook IMO and Dale doesn't trade Gudbranson types unless he has to. Huberdeau and some other younger pieces can be had though.
Many of us here have known Dale's thinking since his color days with Foley in the 80s. Listening to his analysis night in and night out gives us more insight into his mindset than almost any Panther's fan. |

Otherwise McD fears he won't be able to sell as many "one goal" t-shirts to all the Chelsea Dagger dancers; you know the clowns the camera spotlights in the crowd on CSN? More egregious than when they used to show the mars light goal light last season. - blackhawk24
Not a fan of drunken obnoxiousness but hey better then stuffy corporate types IMHO. Brings some fun to the game. unless those stuffy corp types are bringin me to the game that is. |

I saw the whole Bolland thing coming from a mile away and even though I prepared myself for the terrible signing I was still pissed off when it happened. Way too much money but that is what it takes to lure FA to the Panthers. He's hurt again and we have plenty of Centers who could've acually stayed on the ice and contributed. Maybe one day he'll make up for it come playoff time. I've always been a Sharp fan and would've liked to get him earlier in his career but I liked the fire he showed on the ice Tuesday and I think he can still bring experience and some scoring to help the team...if it happens. - BravePackCats27
I like Bolland a lot, but the injury issues understandably lower his value significantly to a team. Not fair, but that's the reality. |

That's part of it. The other part involves a certain guy who likes to invade sovereign nations, who also happens to be tied to another certain nation building nukes.
Too bad the US can't see the forest thru the trees cuz we're sitting on over a century of petro-energy. - blackhawk24
Keystone was passed by both houses of congress. A certain guy who is hell bent on doing his own thing vetoed it. It would have opened the door to your final point. |

So they're keeping supply high, prices low, pushing frackers out of the market, making oil more preferable an energy choice (vs. alternative)—then they jack prices into the stratosphere? - John Jaeckel
I'm in the auto industry. Your post if accurate. Also screwing Putin at the same time. |
