Similar to Clendening deal with VAN? Leafs and Hawks settle on a AHL swap after a trade at a larger scale didn't pan out. Could be the case. |

I am guessing you think that TT will be traded and this guy will take his spot.... If Bowman thinks this guy can replace TT on the top 6 he needs to stop taking whatever drugs he is on. - BearsnHawks
No.
Youre not reading what Im saying.
AHL replacement players delt , Fla getting Jagr .
Hawks may be getting a wing from Florida and Florida may be getting AHL tale t from the Hawks ect |

Classic Hawks move. You have Triple H, The Rock and Stone Cold available but decided to take Norman Smiley- a career jobber- instead.
I know the deadline isn't over, but it looks like it's going to be the same thing. Not willing to risk current roster/prospect players to get a piece or two to improve. |

This trade is laughable. I guess the Hawks have TOO many D men, but why not try to make a productive trade? This is a completely nothing deal. What's the point? |

Have a feeling the panthers will be getting those picks back in another deal. Uncle Dale maybe looking to go all in. - sgt1480
That's what I'm thinking...or hoping for. But Jagr? He's not gonna put pucks in the net anymore. |

All I can think is that Bowman wanted to clear space, on defensive, in Rockford to get some younger players some ice time. Maybe Pokka will be on the first line and get a lot more special teams play out of it? Maybe he wanted to bring Brisebois or Holl up from the ECHL? Maybe He wants Fournier to play more? I have no clue..... I would have to think it has to do with the amount of defensive prospects we have though. |

Nice! Jovanovski was cool, man. Someone uploaded a great VHS from like 1994 onto Youtube that chronicles the birth and first season of the Panthers franchise. Really good watch. Some hilarious '90's outfits/haircuts in it too.
So what happened with Olsen? He was a good prospect and I thought he would pan out really nice for Florida. What are your observations?? - Hank3Henshaw
He started off playing well and then got worse. I think he has personal issues going on right now. Lost focus. |

Just thinking -
Jagr wants to play for Chicago, but Stan doesn't want to give up 2 draft picks. He's already in conversation with Dale, Dale meets Lou's price, and then includes Jagr in a deal to Chicago.
Any chance? |

I know, man. Just the same stuff every year. Just swapping for obscure AHL players. |

Any deal with Florida likely wouldn't happen until after tonight at the earliest, though. |

It means the clubs have been talking and maybe this helps both organizations in some way. Maybe something else is coming, maybe not. |

Calling Abbot skilled is a stretch. - Elbows15
If he had held off for a few more hours, Stan could have got the Leafs to throw in the rights to Normie Ullman. |

Maybe they think TVR will stay in the AHL longer than expected here and they need to make room so he and the other kids get minutes?
Wasn't Brennan top pairing in Rockford? That certainly creates the TOI if he was....

Paliotta's season is ending soon in Vermont also. Could just be making room. |

It's been brought up on Twitter that Michael Paliotta only has two games left in Vermont. He'll be on his way to RFD - they're very high on him. Could be a real stud. |

Not gunna happen. But aquiring Jagr will give Dale the ability to move youth for Patrick Sharp and take less back lash from the Media Fanbase. |

Exactly,
Fracking is viable, the other main reason to crush oil and make those operations not viable now, is so big oil can sweep in and purchase the distressed assets.
The real supply and demand cost of oil and then gas is 1.50. Another sad irony of the narrative or discourse is that while some in govt like to attack big oil, the fail to point out to the sheep that the government makes more of the sale of a gallon of gas then an oil or refiner makes in profit on the same gallon. Somehow that never gets mentioned. - TrueGrit
Two decades ago it was .33/100 and the county tax was .31/100 YIKES! |

Not sure if it's exactly that, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one or both of Bickell and Sharp involved. Huberduau would be a nice return. |

I still don't know who he would replace, in Rockford. His style of play isn't like any other Hog player. Maybe they deal Hartman? They are both LW?? |

Dale must place real value on Cup experience and veteran leaders then, eh?
That was quite a payment. Assuming the 3rd is conditional on making the playoffs - still 2 picks where Dale usually drafts solidly. |

Blackhawks players got into an altercation in the locker room today. Rumors are circulating that Sharp slept with Kanes gf and Keiths wife.

The big takeaway from the Jagr trade is the Jagr Superfans now need to recruit a new member.

This would make sense I guess, but no way to use Brennan in any other way? Why not just cut Brennan if you were clearing room. Abbott has zero upside, I'd rather call up another forward to Rockford than fill it with this player. |
