32 pages of killing time and hoping for some trade action, mostly.

If he had held off for a few more hours, Stan could have got the Leafs to throw in the rights to Normie Ullman.
- RickJ

Even at this point. Ullman is still better. Wait.Norm is still alive right?

Wait..again. Doesn't matter. Ullman can at least play dead. Abbot can't.

Multiple sources have told me there was no recent fist-fight among the #Blackhawks.

I think his "sources" are this and other boards and twitter.

When little things like that happen, it always makes me wonder if it's something unplanned/a prank, or if they're trying to signal the actor that his sketch is bombing or something.
- Lash8

I know what you mean. I think in that particular one, it was planned because the premise is so absurd that he can't get over this girl, so having Farley on only to answer one question and then have him go really quick makes it funnier because it's just satisfying Sandlers' characters need to hear that he and Denise made a good couple.

The big takeaway from the Jagr trade is the Jagr Superfans now need to recruit a new member.

Laz is alright. Pretty much every journalist actually close to the teams has been like "Fight? News to me." Including Q just now.

recent being the keyword. Heard it happened last season. And with a player that has not been mentioned.

FANTASTIC JJ. That's your best ever. If Bowman is not going to be a buyer, I'd be in favor of him being a seller. Neither of which he will probably do. This is the time for this Hot shot, "genius" capologist ( as we were told ) to prove his worth. I have no reason to believe that he will acquire anything to help this year's team, or the future for that matter. Again, great write-up.

I don`t know who is paying out the slush money But Dregger last nite on NHL channel called Stan "Shrewed"

What`s up with that? DO NOT see it Yet

A shrewed move to me would be like the Oduya move. One we will keep and be able to sing at cap friendly

Talk on the NHL Network now is the price for Jeff Petry is a 2nd round pick and that may be too steep for the Red Wings.

why the hell arent we paying that right now anyway?

Sekera just went for a good prospect and a 1st

a 2nd for petry would be a steal at these prices for rentals lately

Seriously. Let stop with BS rumors about every player's wife being so ready to jump into bed with Sharp. Unless you know for sure and are willing to put your name on it. Give it a rest. FFS!!

Personally, I would have liked to have seen Jagr on the Hawks. Not as the main piece, but as a piece. Yeah, he's slow, but he's still quite skilled, and does a job job with the puck.
