Scotty has everybody believing he's basically retired, hardly gets involved with the Hawks except if they ask his opinion on something. The only thing he does anymore is go to every game in Tampa and watch hockey on TV every night.

Anyone else think Cumiskey is like Leddy-lite? Guys got some wheels and seems to be able to make quick decisions. Wouldnt mind seeing him stick around once Oduya and Tvr come back
- BlazinMike

He sure skates like Leddy (sometimes). What I liked better? Getting down and blocking that shot from going in. THAT was great!

Soooooo I'm guessing that Blackhawks trade will have to wait until tomorrow??

After an insane day of posts, it's nice to end the day with solid road win.

Too bad CC only got the shutout...now if he'd scored the empty netter he just might avoid criticism.

But no one can engage a group and do a lot of talking without really giving any answers like Scottie...There is an art to being evasive and engaging.
- Al

While true that its an art, I thought your point was more about revealing their thoughts.

Not that I think Stan will ever be the same but Scotty has a bit more experience. Especially considering his Montreal days.

Seems like Stan has gotten a bit more comfortable. But then, I am not a reporter who would know first hand.

Who knows...this has been an odd year with lots of trades well before the deadline.

Really? When? Please tell the times Seabs bailed him out. It looked pretty equal as to which partner was bailing out the other, especially when Seabs starts with the blind passes and handles the puck like it's a grenade.
- KingB

You see the game your wayt and I will see it the way I want. You want to argue with someone, find someone else.

But then it sure looked Keith had to bail hjalmarsson out a couple of time to me.

That was a great team effort defensively. Corey made a couple of nice stops when he needed to.

Really wish Winnipeg could've scored late or won in the shootout, would've been huge if the Blues would've lost as well..

Well put...I was able to watch the first period before being forced to listen, and the play in the first was solid.

Great jump and speed. Gaps were solid. Forecheck was evident.

TT scored, which was nice. Obvious "give-a-poop" performance.

The 5 on 3 was frustrating, Hossa with the ringer, but was nice seeing Toews win about 125% of his draws.

I think the best part...lack of stupidity and cringe worthy moments.

I saw that...big, big win for the Wild.

The central is getting nuts. Best and most competitive division by far.

It interesting that Hawks seem to play their best when Nordstrom is in the line up. It allows Q to use Kruger and Smith to their strengths and it gives him better match ups for Toews and company at points throughout the game.

Love to see the 4th line get rewarded with some points but if they keep playing the same way, they will come.

Points for the fourth line are a bonus. If all that crew does is play shutdown well on the opponents' top line long enough over the course of a game to rest our first line, its all good.

What do you guys think of the Clarkson for Horton deal?

Pure salary swap for both, but at least the BJ's get a guy who will dress.

Poor Horton is likely done...that back of his is shot.
