There's already a picture of Miller's wife in the shower.

I heard Horvat has a picture of her printed on a pillow case.

8mil is too much they need to retain some of that salary.
- pker2theend

yeah, next season would be a killer. I know the canucks can't do it but it would be nice to get a pure goal scorer again. Not sure who would be comparable out there that might be available.

How good would Kessel look on the Preds? They have the defensive system and players to cover his lapses.
- bloatedmosquito

IMO he'd thrive in a non-hockey market. And on a team where he isn't relied on to be great nightly to have a chance to win.

Nashville would be an excellent fit.

Nashville, Florida....he would even do well in Winnipeg with Big Buff knocking people out of his way.

I can see Sharp getting traded to PHX as part of a package for Vermette.

Hahah... Just watched that Insider Trading and Dreger said the Canucks asked the NHL to look into Cal Clutterbuck "Spitting" on Daniel sedin during the Islanders game.

I have no idea how the sedins attract so much hostility sometimes considering they are some of the quietest players in the league during scrums.

why buy him out... part of his salary would go against the cap. Just put him on LTIR and get 100% relief from his salary every year. The guy won't play again ever
- Mungo

Won't Toronto have to be under the cap or cap compliant at the start of every season including Horton's salary?

No, most u can be over at any point is 10%. As long as they are compliant the 1st game then they are good.

I just look at his numbers and think that's what the canucks need:

2009 - 36 24 60
2010 - 30 25 55
2011 - 32 32 64
2012 - 37 45 82
2013 - 20 32 52
2014 - 37 43 80

And this year 22 26 48 on that (frank)ing mess of a team. The boy can put up points consistantly.

- bloatedmosquito

Kessel can't be "the man". He's to streaky

Streaky within the season yes but his end of season totals are consistant.

But i agree, he can't be the man.

Wow. I guess that is a good move for Toronto and for Columbus since Horton's salary wasn't insured...

Official thread is saying NHL may block Clarkson trade, being reviewed and pending. I would feel sorry for Toronto.

One of the crapiest trades I've ever seen that somehow works for both clubs.
