Lot's of conflicting reports. ESPN had one that said it was B+ prospect. I think that's more likely than a 1st + prospect.

Pysyk was an emergency recall. He in fact did have to get sent down once the blue line was healthy. The only reason he is here IMO is because of the Zadorov situation with him not being able to go to juniors

I agree. But I think the main reason he isn't here is because Murray knows he's too good defensively. Murray would have to be the biggest moron in hockey to think right now Psyk isn't miles light years even better than Benoit, Weber and Mezaros. He's better than Zadorov at this point too.

With the style he plays IMO he would be starting to break down just around the same time Gionta's contract expires. I still wouldn't have gone that route. If Cally was to be a FA in 2 years and 27 years old I would be all for it.

Players like Cally are important to a team no doubt but I think in this case when the Sabres are ready to take that next step you will see we have him already in Girgensons

I watch quite a few Sharks games and I don't understand what the Sharks problem is with Niemi if this is true. They need the rest of the team to show up in the playoffs. Goaltending isn't their problem.

For some reason it is the same scapegoat they used with nabakov. But I think with nabakov I think it was more true. They need to go a different direction. Obviously what they have been doing isn't enough.
