Like I said most can figure things out, why would Murray be looking to add a winger or another D man if want McDavid or Eichel ? Look to add with picks and or prospects, make sense doesn't it ? It shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who will be gone and who won't.

Sounds about right. Wondered if murray would take a poke at cowen. Hodgsons interesting. im just gonna assume we'll be retaining a good chunk. if we withhold 1/3 of what he is owed, it would be like buying him out, except it would be over 4 years instead of 8- however we would get back an asset. I believe max you can retain is 50% but it'd have to be a hell of an asset to do that.

I say sign Neuvwirth unless someone really REALLY makes a killer offer. They need to play a little hardball with Zadorov. The fortune and glory is here in the NHL. Not sure if Subban is all that. I don't know if we need another goalie with "potential." I'm wondering if Coho is the player Murray was surprised to get a call about? And he's definitely going to make teams sweat with Stewart.
