I can't see Chicago moving him but cap space is hard to come by. Sharp is all but gone from Chicago but maybe Seabrook was part of that scrap the other day and he's asked to be traded. That seems unlikely but could help the Oilers.

It's worth the risk IMO. Maybe he (or anyone else we bring in) just needs to be here for a successful season before seeing the appeal and resigning. Seabrook would certainly be a MASSIVE step towards having a solid season. Maybe acquire Matt Carle for cheap alongside the addition of Seabrook.
