It's worth the risk IMO. Maybe he (or anyone else we bring in) just needs to be here for a successful season before seeing the appeal and resigning. Seabrook would certainly be a MASSIVE step towards having a solid season. Maybe acquire Matt Carle for cheap alongside the addition of Seabrook.

We couldn't afford to take on both Seabrook and Bickell's contracts and still add another Dman (especially one for the top pairing). Unless we're also able to rid ourselves of Purcell's contract, it's hard to see us doing that.

Hard to say, Yakupov, Lander, Marincin and Shultz all need new deals and who knows what the values will be. Roy, Fraser and Pitlick could be resigned. Oilers need to try and replace Petry and Fasth.
