I'm not expecting a lot in return for our rentals. It's just not worth it to other teams. |

I'm waiting to see what Darcy and the yotes do to continue "losing despite playing well" at the deadline. They could very well end up 6-24 in their last 30 games the way they are "losing". current 8 game losing streak, all in regulation and from the looks of their schedule, maybe only 5 games will they win, if the stars align like they have for the sabres (tired teams, backup goalies) so we need to keep pace |

Green on the move? - Stripes77
I don't think so...just think they wanted to add some depth...
canes got a borderline nhl d-man and a 4th rounder...
yes, meszaros, benoit and Strachan do have some value |

Edit: Just realized you were including games already played. |

Time to move on from desperately trying to justify the Vanek Trade....old news, it cost you guys, get over it, move on. - Jeropotato
Lol, talk to any isles fan, that trade sucked because of the draft picks, Moulson was a UFA who was useless without JT. There's no justifying that trade, I'm referring to the offseason when we had a number of Sabres trolls in our thread telling us they'd signed a 30 goal scorer. Now they're calling him the same thing we did, dead weight. |

I did the same thing when I re-read it and said "20 games remain, but that equals 30 games total |

Tim Erixon on waivers from hawks. Trade whomever, take him and keep moving. Take highest pick offer, to flip come draft day. |

Not a fan of Moulson myself...but not a bad signing for the Sabres, even if he scores only 20. |

We shouldn't want anything in return, all we should want is to lose games. |

After trading for Jagr and Heatley, the Panthers now have their sights set on Howie Morenz.

I'm not a fan of the signing.... There are a few others on the board that didn't like it either. Mostly because of the length of the contract I think. |

Meh, he can easily be a 25 goal scored with the right help. Matt is a sidekick and he reminds me of how the penguins utilized players like him much like Kunitz, Dupuis or james neal. All were decent hard working players, but when added to top level talent they look much better and became 15-25 goal scoring capable |

You called it right long ago, Arizona is our competition. I blame both Murray and Nolan for that. Neuvirth should have followed Enroth out the door.

Politely disagree on the definition of value, then. |

You can't rate players like him on this rag-tag team. Look at Hodgson, for example.

Stop justifying your bs posts troll. Still crying over the trade, wah wah wah.
and you and the other Isles troll been in our boards all year trolling us and are we crying about it? No. Time to come up from the basement and get a life. If your poop team was garbage this year you wouldn't be anywhere near this place. |

Murray's surprise phone call other day was from Nonis. It was about Clarkson for Hodgson. TM waited but said no. |

why not? he did nothing for you last year, nothing for minny, and nothing this year. He also was too slow and too soft to play in the playoffs and contribute for either the isles or the wild.
so what do you think Hodgson is then?

Moulson is not an Islander anymore, let it go. Our team sucks and Moulson, like a lot of our players are not producing. And we're fine with it. You seem to have the problem with Moulson, not us. |
