He brings more skill than the american which can only help the pp and has more offensive upside. Toronto saves some cap space and gets more experience when Van adds Higgy to the package. Toronto gets two guys who have leadership skills, based on what you hear, for a guy who needs a change of scenery.

Seriously though, a guy with 70pt potential and a potential 1st line centre is what vancouver doesn't have.

I think there's good potential with that group for at least 3 of them to be legit long-term centre pieces on the top 3 lines.

Given the fact that kadri is a lock for5 mill and doesn't back check. I'd wouldn't si Bonino for Kadri straight up.

Its not like he hasn't had scorers in Toronto. JVR quite often. Lupul when healthy. How much do his numbers go down when he is expected to even try to play defense here. Can u say CoHo?

Lupul when healthy. That is like Santa Claus the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. It sounds warm and fuzzy but we all know there is no such real thing.

Depends. Some teams make smart buys that help with SC runs or even re-sign the player they trade for.

And some sellers end up getting nothing out of the prospect or pick they acquire.
