i'm skeptical of "inside" info...sometimes that info is tainted by personal opinion...not to take away from anything 1000 or anyone else posts, but as we see here with the Nolan and Regier debates, emotions can really take over a conversation

Does that really explain the original video having a snapchat caption over it saying "Tank for Eichel"? Unless "tanking" is some name for a sexual act that the kids say nowadays, it seems hockey related.

The man had a very strict budget he had to adhere for years.
The Paul Gaustad for a 1st round pick was nothing short of genius.
Darcy gets a raw deal as well.

That was Malpractice to allow, Briere, Drury,Campbell,J.P.,then blaming the Obscene Signing of Thomas Vanak, and what it did to the future of the Franchise. A true GM would not have been put in that situation/Organization or not, if he was on board with those decisions, he has to take his work history with him. As you've espoused on here too many times to remember, What you do in your profession is a record of who you are in that profession, if someone was telling you to stamp your "Concrete God" signature to a job site that was destined to fail due to corruption/financial constraints, building a subpar job on a Massive scale, would you just play cards and to hell with your own self worth, or would you leave the situation knowing that you don't value your Wallet as much as your integrity? many points to disagree with...I still by my notion that Regier was not a joke of a gm...will reiterate that I was not enamored with the type of players he preferred to build with...nor did I like his stripping down of the hardest working team in hockey...but he build the Ferrari that people fell in love with...too bad the nhl changed and like someone aptly pointed out, he failed to adjust...

Lou lamierllo,ken holland always picked after us and drafted a lot better players. You want to talk about so many bad firsts Round I don't know who has been worse drafting,the bills or Sabres. Hasek goes to detroit and wins two cups and the one team had a bunch of older players. He had hasek handed to him and he did NOTHING. Second factual statement, Dominik was pissed that REGIER never brought in any offensive players to help. Hasek did not ask for a trade,the day of the trade deadline,REGIER faxed over to Doms house ,that the sabres would honor his option year. Hasek called Regier up and said you waited to trade deadline,trade me right ding now( slaps hot)

That seems to be the offer a few teams made for him from what Ive heard. He is as good as gone,, they did try to resign him but no deal was reached so he's gone. I'd wait till tomorrow too and see if maybe you can get a 2nd for him.

Well, take away inside info. Nolan couldn't get along with one Buffalo GM, now another. I'm starting to see a trend.

Do you see,lou had the goalie and built around brodeur. REGIER was to dumb to figure out that stu barnes,Joey Juneau,steve big bear Bernier,Bob corkum,danius subris were not the missing piece. Dom said all we needed was one go to guy and REGIER didn't ever get him. Even a mark recchi type,REGIER had the chance to win multiple stanley cups. Dominik is one of the five greatest players ever and we won nothing

Unfortunately as stated earlier,stewart wants out. I believe you need him on this team. You need a guy next year who will play meaningful minutes and can protect reinhart,mceichel and so on. The problem is,if you sign him to a big contract and he doesn't want to be here,you will have a useless lazy hockey player
