Well, we'll all see how truly "smart" Nolan is if he quits (and forfeits the last two years of his deal) or if he waits to be fired. - grand-magus
He will be fired |

Great comment. I hate to say it ,but for the most part we have very unknowledgeable fans. Darcy REGIER was a joke as a gm. We have had garbage for years with the bills and sabres. The non knowledgeable fan loves TED nolan cause as jarhead says I wil put murray with concrete shoes? Most of these people don't understand the game ,never played sports and want to pretend they know the game. The fans love the thug hockey Nolan brought in his first year. The team was all hasek - Buffalo39
Regier wasn't a joke as a gm...he may have been poor at team building, but the players he brought in were excellent individual players...just look at the return he got for them |

Thanks Michael. - BuffaloHardHat
i'm fan of Nolan...but I have to admit, the buzzards here are making some really good points |

Listen, you can "rule #3" me all you wish.
Why, because I am someone that doesn't follow the rest of the sheep?
Enough with the announcing of your "rule #3, it's almost become infantile.
Just do it, don't announce it and I will be fine with it either way. - BuffaloHardHat
It's the same as coming in and spewing Murray hate. We all know you don't like him. This is the first time you mentioned assaulting him though. Nobody says you have to follow the heard but at least come with something that contributes to the discussion like Pach just didn't about Nolan and his memorial cups, not about assaulting the GM (theoretical or not) |

The Eichel videos were taken after the Beanpot tournament that BU won like a week or so ago, and the caption on the original Snapchat video says "Tank for Eichel". That doesn't sound like a girl he's talking about |

Love books and dogs. That's better than beers and boys from a dad perspective. |

No one blasts you for your opinion.
You get blasted for bringing your tough guy, honor, I'll beat up that beady eyed little douche, I don't raise my 45 children up that way, earn your way, West Side thing, I make tons of money and I'm better than all you, concrete Jedi bullsh!t into almost every thread.

Exactly.
The man had a very strict budget he had to adhere for years.
The Paul Gaustad for a 1st round pick was nothing short of genius.
Darcy gets a raw deal as well.
I attribute it to just plain ol' ignorance. |

The beanpot finished 2 days ago
Edit on the 23rd but the video was said to be from a while ago and was just released |

I hear ya, homer...but as you know, there was a lot more going on behind the scenes on that debacle...didn't Quinn think drury re-signing was a done deal (hand shake, if i'm not mistaken)...and didn't the cap dictate that one or the other had to be let go? - Michael Pachla
Him sticking to his rules and not adjusting was part of his downfall. He also made some poor 1st round picks. If he hit on a few more of those in the early 2000s I bet we were a contender for longer. |

So everything you say is truth? That we're all green with envy of the fact you pour concrete for a living and make an above average salary? You're not the only one here that makes an above average salary, so get off your high horse a bit. Nobody is jealous of anybody here. |

I wasn't a fan of Nolan, heard things from a close relative of Mucklers that were just pathetic. I just can't mention the bad stuff here but the hockey related things? He would skip practices on the road, have too many voluntary, have assistants run too many of them. |

Regeir was an ok GM. He just was employed way too long. |

He had his ups and his downs. I think what pach said about being able to build a team was a big part of his issues. |
