From Darcy's Wikipedia page

Out of the 149 players Darcy has drafted, four of them have been chosen as all-stars. These players are Brian Campbell, Ryan Miller, Jason Pominville, and Thomas Vanek.[1]

Paints a bit of a bad picture for those who may only look at what Connolly GOT the Sabres. He also played there and produced for a long tim

Peca: 236 points in 464 for various other teams after leaving Buffalo
Connolly: 320 points in 464 games for Buffalo

(Forgive any errors if found, did the math in my head)

There's a risk there, though.

The thought process that because Moulson came back, just about anyone will is flawed. Neuvirth said he found out about the trade when it scrolled on the television while he was eating lunch. That doesn't say much about a goodwill gesture. That's not to say he wouldn't dismiss it either, but it's far from a guarantee if Murray wants either one of them.

- buffalofan19

That happens because of the amount of social media we have these days. It wasn't even confirmed yet that the trade happened. There's not much the GMs can do about that unless they lock the entire team up in a room with no TVs, no cell phones, and no radio.

I don't know if it's just wrong, or if it was excluded because of the fan vote, but Girgensons was drafted under Darcy.

The Pominville one sticks out to me, but that's because I was old enough to actually appreciate it.

The Drury one to tie up that Rangers game is pretty far up there for me as well.

And Peca scored more goals in 5 seasons with Buffalo than connolly did in 8.

Yes, this team stinks. Neuvirth was not going to continue that streak for the rest of the season, and Stewart is as inconsistent as they come. They would still have finished last. This was about getting "something" for them.
