That's market value for Stewart. The hot streak hasn't changed the opinions of GM's, there's a reason he's bounced around. Plagued by inconsistent play and negative impact in his own end.

Winnipeg made the deal because Murray offered a package Chevy couldn't refuse which was us overpaying.

terrible example. Rob Johnson was a backup and never played. Myers is on the 1st line.. Myers is the real deal

Anything, and I mean ANYTHING we get for Stewart/Mez/Neuvirth/whomever else is icing on the cake.

Big picture folks. I don't care if all we get is a 5th round pick for each, making sure they finish 30th is (and should be) the #1 goal of this team going forward. It is TM's job to get the best possible deals today, and if that means selling short and not getting full value, I'm 100% fine with that (addition by subtraction).

Let's be honest as well, none of these guys being targeted to move today are anywhere close to what you'd get back for the deals we've seen with Miller/Vanek/Pommer/Myers.

Very similar. Stewart is younger. Cole has about six more points playing on a team that scores a ton of goals. I'd say a competent GM could get Stewart for a 2nd or a 3rd and a prospect.
