It's a pretty obvious assumption. The Jets were only going to make the trade if they got something significant in return. They are in the middle of a playoff run.

They felt Myers was a significant upgrade for them and he has been. Stafford also has 3 goals since the move. They got better

Just hate these trades sending out guys who are not in any way the problem and actually show heart, skill, etc. I know he's not a difference maker, but I'd have signed that guy in a heartbeat.
