A guy that will step up and fight a guy like Lucic to support his teammates. People did nothing but complain about how we were soft and no one would step up for Miller. We have this guy now and everyone wants him gone.

I liked Flynn too. Thought he was a good piece on the 4th line for the future. But I bet there's plenty of others like him coming up through the system and with the contract limit, if you can get something for someone, I guess it makes sense.

I agree with some of this except that Peters was also terrible offensively in juniors unlike Lemieux who is playing really really well. Lemieux will be a much much much better player than peters could have ever dreamed to me

I agree with that, but I was just trying to make a point. Guys that play like that, they project to the third-fourth lines. My point being, Lemieux would have likely been a great addition to this team, but I'm comfortable with the proven commodity.

We want him gone because he is a UFA. If he likes it here and we offer him a contract during Free Agency he can come back. Its not like we are wanting a guy with years on his contract out the door
