For those on the bring back Stewart by signing him in the offseason thought process, I present to you two options.

A. Jagr for 1/2 years
B. Stewart for 3/4 years

If option B is even a consideration, please rethink your stance.

Why use such disparate players to make a comparison, both handle completely different needs/talents.

We don't need Jagr and in no way in hell would he sign here.

Whatever anybody has to say about Stewart, it should include the fact that he can score 10-20 goals without talent around him, he will knock your teeth out and other players know it!

Exactly. We've wanted a guy like this for years and now everyone can't wait to get rid of him. I'd trade him but not unless we get at least a 2nd.

Eggsactly! and St. Louis would be a better choice to teach Reinhart/ others how to be creative and professionally responsible in your own end.

in 3/4 years when we are challenging for the cup (if all goes according to plan) is when we'll need Stewart...

also i think bringing in Kane went a LONG way in convincing stew to come on back to buffalo this summer

Stewart has a different skill level than Foligno. Consistently using it is another question.
