It isn't, but I have to agree with this guy/gal somewhat here. For the Sabres to be this close to losing the last place spot, it is borderline mental. They've been historically bad this year, and yet they are only 3 points out of being last (4 from the team that worries me most in the Yotes).
Who knows if Murray/Nolan are on the same page (IMO I don't think they've been since the New Year), but for this team to even have the potential to lose out on that last place finish is ridiculous. If they aren't drafting 1 or 2, this season was a complete waste. TM should have been making moved to ensure these winning streaks had no chance of happening.
As someone who works in professional sports, chances like this don't come around often. Losing out on McEichel will gut many Sabres fans, and it will be a hard pill to swallow moving forward with TM knowing what could have been. |
