Fixed this section for you. You seem to forgot no wanted wanted to hire Darcy as a GM this year, so he settled as the AGM in the worst hockey market in the NHL.

GMs were bidding on Stewart. He was sold to highest bidder. Future 2nd rounder. It is what it is and Murray played it the way he should have.

Also, we know roughly where a second will be this year, but in 2 years, do the Wild make the playoffs? Could be a really early 2nd rounder or late 2nd rounder. Just happy he is gone for something (adds more to the Miller deal) and we can breathe a little easier.

You're right Darcy could have done these moves but what he would not have done was be bold and do the Kane trade 3 weeks ago.

I think Murray has done a decent job so far. I liked some moves and wasn't a huge fan of others. However I firmly believe there will be more moves done at the draft that will change the look of this team for the next decade and I am not just talking drafting (hopefully) McEichel.

I think Cody started skating and working a bit too late. We now get to see Cody skate around all depressed, the team obviously want those 2 guys here long term or assume they would have been shipped as well.
