My friend is connected with someone who is with the Sabres in tampa said it wasn't official but that he heard they were working on a deal with Mezaros. But not 100%

It was slightly different, they were getting 1st's, 2nd's. We are getting 5th and 7th rounders, but I think it is very similar. Either way, nothing the league can do, they are changing it with the CBA, so in a few years it will be different, but not today!

What I find comical is people that will blindly love any move he makes and cannot just call a spade a spade. A blah return. Same with Flynn and Nuevirth. This was a boring day. Murray did his job.

Trust me, I'd be critical of him if he didn't get assets for guys that were walking (possibly) at the end of the year. Or if he made a trade I didn't like, I'd definitely voice my opinion.

Bottom line, we got multiple picks today. More picks = higher probability of landing or finding the next all-star/gem. Give me a guy who plans for the future, while making the team better (long term) any day of the week over someone that is conservative come deadline day.
