I certainly think that the Bills will be a "real contender" next season.

But I still don't want Andre Johnson for that kind of money which is 10. 5 this season and 11 mill next season just as a base salary.

Other areas of dire need that need to be addressed far before WR.

Main reason why I dont feel an once bad for Nolan. He is a terrible modern day coach and should go back to coaching minors or riding amazing goalies for wins

I personally hope CoHo continues to play like he has the past several games and raises his trade value. OR I hope whatever new coach comes in gives him a chance. The kid is good on the PP and yet Nolan didn't play him on the PP? Maybe Nolan was with the tank all along

Depends. Murray is an amateur scout he loves the diamonds in the rough type players you find after round 2.

He has a good mix of quality (high draft picks) and quantity

Agreed because the assets that will make the Sabres better next year are already property of them.

Sure the Sabres could have traded away Risto and Ennis and Girgensons that would have been a FULL OUT F the season up we are finishing last and going to be bad for the next decade trade to get McEichel.

It bothers me that 1 ESPN still has "hockey writers". The Sabres already have players in the wing ready to step up they just didn't have that superstar in waiting.

Next year the Sabres will be better than the Yotes because of the trades they made yesterday.

Ruff was a good coach at one time IMO. He didn't always depend on an amazing goalie to get us to the playoffs. Nolan on the other hand has always depended on a hot goalie. When he was with the Islanders thats when DP was considered a good goalie. DP played well for him.

Anyone have a feeling that we will actually be competitive tonight? I do... We will lose 3-4 in the shootout. We got a bunch of kids that are playing for a shot at the NHL. They don't care about the tank so they will be playing extra motivated. Idk still kinda worried. The only good thing is that we have two goalies that truly suck at saving the puck lol
