74 degrees on the golf course here in florida - homiedclown
Ok, I'm heading somewhere WARM! I was always worried about losing the connection to our horrible sports teams! Does it ever feel like they are over there and its not the same? Or is it in our blood to suffer were ever we travel to?

Hello! That's funny. Wouldn't it be funnier if we knew each other? Probably not though. Pretty sure I don't know any other Sabres fans here besides my family. - axeman816
Every time I tell someone I'm from Buffalo
Person - "I know New York, you don't have the accent"
Person - "hows The city"
Me - "NYC?"
Person - "Yes"
Me - "About 7 hours from me"
Person - "Oh really?"

That's not the point though.
The point is most are "embracing the tank", while some like me aren't.
There is nothing at all to figure out when it comes to attaining a generational talent, I am sure everyone and their grandmother "gets that".
Some people stick hard to their belief systems and the way they expect a game to be played.
Some are more flexible when looking at it because they are sharply focused on the prize more than anything else.
Neither, mind you makes anyone better, it just means you have a different opinion is all. - BuffaloHardHat
Considering that 'The Prize' is why they play the game, I consider no fault in the player. Maybe The Game. So get hating.

Yep. me too. And my favorite... y'all ain't from around here are ya?
I used to go to Y-Knots in Peachtree City to watch games years ago before I could afford Center Ice. Have you been there?
There are two teams doing it: Buffalo and Arizona. Edmonton is just terrible, and the rest have had injury problems. Buffalo's "mistake" was that they've been unabashed about it since the spring of 2013. Darcy Regier used the "suffering" tag. Then the Buffalo Sabres hosted both Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel in their building in games. Ted Black has mentioned both guys publicly more than once. I'm convinced that the reason why Arizona doesn't get roasted for what they are doing is because everybody has known this is what Buffalo has been trying to do for two years, and they're hoping to see them fail at it. Let's be honest, if any other team sounded the trumpet like the Sabres did, we'd be hoping they'd lose out as well. There's definitely something annoying about it. That being said, tank on. They're not doing this to make friends. - buffalofan19
Great post and wait until next season when AZ is still purposely doing it.

I feel like Buffalo is ALWAYS the Ugly girl at the Dance, Whenever there is any attention paid to her for how she dances, or if her makeup starts to help her look better, EVERYONE bashes her to pieces!
"IF" we do end up with one of the GREAT 2 players in the Draft, its like they want us to FEEL GUILTY!????
Like the Ugly girl finally gets to show her dance moves but everyone sneers at her and turns away just as she gets going. Its like a Catholic Priest telling us not to go through puberty because we will have nasty thoughts!

Same here. No one realizes there 400 miles of state directly to the west of manhattan. And the best part of NYS IMHO.

I love all these people that hate the TANK, but it's ok if the Leafs were to do it.
