Is TM giving us the best chance to finish last and get the Franchise player we need. As he 100% should.

Nolan and the players are still trying. They aren't trying to lose. Nobody is telling them to let in goals. If that was the case, sure that's 'bad" but that's not what's going on.

He just got back from injury and didn't look good in his first game back from what I read.

Get him up here with the big team as sort of a good faith gesture and get him back into game condition and play him when he is ready

I just think it's lack of experience. Luckily for him nobody will really care if he "loses" a trade involving giving away marginal ufa's.

He's gotta hit it big in the draft though, that's his speciality

If I were a Leafs fan after all the crap that has been said about the team and certain players I appreciate him standing up for his teammates but it is about 4 months too late IMO.

You call it arrogance I will call it holding out for a better deal...kind of like Darcy in that way

Moving Stewart back then when he was struggling would have been a move that would have been chastised. He has since turned his game around and his value should have increased but it took too long to happen.

Not getting Spooner is not getting burned as I don't think he is anything more than a depth guy if at all he could be a tweener between the AHL and NHL for his entire career a Matt Ellis 2.0 if you will.
