Sekac did all the work on the game winner, how does that feel. Sekac already has three assists and is involved in the offense. Therrien never used this kid right and will prove to be a costly trade. Sekac played a couple shifts with Getzlaf and Perry in his second game and I bet that will be is spot in the near future. He is a pretty nifty playmaker and will fit nice. I am a Habs fan but this trade sucks.

Did Adam say that?? I thought it was Garth! My opinion on Freakorenko is that until he stops being a perimeter player he ain't going to reach his potential. He is a monster size and strengthwise but needs to get more involved. He has a ton of potential but may not realize it in Buffalo.

I have heard this before but I do not believe it. Garth is fun but unrealistic at times where Adam is a pretty good judge of talent while adding fun to his blogs.

How did it feel to trade Richards and Carter to watch them win the cup with LA?

I should point out that I am a Habs fan and DSP may work out fine and I hope he does. If he can crash and bang and chip in a few goals that would be great but my main beef is giving up on a star power player who never got a real chance to prove he can be a top six. Time will tell but if Jiri Sekac ever gets his confidence going to match his skill set the Habs will surely regret this trade. I do believe he will.

I was happy for them. They were becoming a distraction in Philly and that was managements fault for giving them the keys to the city long term and they were too immature to handle the pressure plus the rumours of partying never died because it was true. Carter remains are top player while Richards has played himself out of the league for now. Voracek for Carter was a huge win for Philly and Schenn for Richards is also a huge win. Flyers management hopefully will finally have some respect around the league with Hextall running the show.
