If you're going by that logic, Anders Lindback is also technically better than Hasek.
Price was a good, but not great goalie when he relied solely on technique. He reached the next level last year when he started being more combative. |

Is this not a comparison you make after Price retires? And even with that, the game is much different today then it was 20 years ago. Price is a very good goalie, but to say he is better then Roy at this point is a tough thing to do. Its like comparing Crosby to Gretzky. Look at some of the goaltending back when 99 played. It would be laughable if that was in todays game. |
