Management doesn't have something against Kassian. They have been supportive and have been singing a different toon than the coach who seems to be the one holding the short leash. - boonerbuck

Burrows has better hands, better instincts and is more versitile - Bieksa#3
Sure, but I think he is less of a fit with the organization than Hansen |

How so. Burrows can play in more situations and on any line |

A few vets have to go. Burrows is significantly better then Hansen - Bieksa#3
Burrows is alot older ,slower and more expensive. |

Yup, and honestly at 22 y/o he has 28 points in 66 NHL GP I would hardly call that a failure - bezz44
He played on a poop squad too. |

I know everybody wants Higgins gone, but after bennings comments I'd say he's here to stay. Hansen gone for sure and maybe vey with him? - Bieksa#3
I wouldn't trade either of them unless one of the kids forced my hand. In law they would say that they want it proven "beyond a reasonable doubt", and thats the same thing I want from the prospects. If they can displace a regular because their play is "beyond a reasonable doubt" better, only then do we trade the vet. |

Exactly as I originally mentioned
I don't think Burrows is much better than Hansen WRT leadership so I'd rather go with the younger, less expensive player. We also can't afford to get slower. We are already snails |

Sent in a tweet on TSN that the only good reason to keep Lupul is because he banged Phaneuf's wife. TSN didn't filter it and it came up during deadline day |

Burrows has a low $$ on his final yr too... but high cap. Might work for a bottom feeder to hit the floor. |

Are there still bottom feeders in danger of not hitting the cap floor these days? |
