Pretty sure I answered the first time you asked. You don't trade picks for a guy when you can get similarly skilled guys for free in less than a week. Locker would have been my choice because he is more athletic and has a bigger arm. He's also younger and has only been on one team, so the chance, although slim, exists that there is some untapped potential there.

He was worse than ej last year but i agree it would make sense to pick up a qb from fa. Maybe they wanted a veteran whos been around to do the whole "mentor" thing.

Everybody has time to watch every single NFL and NHL game, and watch every single player out on the field/ice.

The titans chose to go with a sixth rd rookie to lead their franchise over locker...lets just see what the depth chart looks like and what these guys look like after camp breaks.

The only opinion I have is that there's no way you watched every single snap of Matt Cassel's last season, so don't act like you know more than the people being paid to professionally scout NFL players.

They obviously think enough of him to trade for him.

Am i excited for matt freaking cassel heck no..i dont believe its a move to get all worked up about though...i would have preferred locker too(just cause of high pick etc) he sucks too though. A 5th and 7th next yr for cassel and a 6th...even if he just comes in and mentors whoever its worth it.
