Great read Mike.
What bothers me is each time we lose a player in Buffalo suddenly he didn't want to be here and also is an injury risk. Ignoring the fact that Gronk(Super Bowl Winner) is a much higher injury risk and Adrian Peterson came back from injury and nearly set the all time rushing record. I could go on and on. It is noted that this is something the old Bills wouldn't have done. But this looming season IMO, was a throw away season. - Buffalo-Sabres
Problem is we have such a good D that this up coming season had no chance of being a throw away. Even if the offense is terrible we will win 7-8 which will result in us drafting a QB that probably wont be ready for 2-3 years and by then we will have lost a lot of what made the D so good. So pretty much i fell we have to go all for it this year. Good run game and good D could finally get us into the playoffs. |

Mikhail Grigorenko has been returned to the minors.
He was called up as insurance just in case Tyler Ennis was unable to play Tuesday. Ennis was able to return from a groin injury, so Grigorenko sat as a healthy scratch. Grigorenko is just getting over an injury of his own, so he'll get to work that out in the AHL. |

I wish we can get a QB - SABRES 89
so does half the league...in lieu of that they:
built a top-5 defense, with depth throughout;
have a solid young core of receivers, with a top-end talent as a #1;
have now added a playmaker and one of the best running backs in the league
have depth at running back
are one piece away from stabilizing a weak offensive line
going into the draft, outside of qb, all their skill positions are covered, save for te, if you consider it a skill position...
should take a huge leap forward this year, imo

I agree, there are some TE's in FA we maybe can grab, I guess with McCoy here now and his cap hit our 27 mill that we have has been cut in half. |

With our D, WRs, new coach and owners and now star RB, Buffalo could be a destination a QB may want to come to especially if we can add another piece to the O-line. |

Okay okay best All Purpose Back in the game... - Stripes77
He is very good. I do think he's in a bit of a decline though. If he stays healthy, he will be great for Buffalo. Plus, having a legitimate top-level RB threat is going to make Watkins even more valuable. I really like the Bills team going into this season. |

His cap hit will be about $9 million after the restructure his deal. With cuts and after the $4 million or so to sign the draft picks they should have about $16 million to work with |

I'm sure we will see something happen, I hope. Pisses me off that we have to re due McCoy's deal so he comes here. |

Yes, just not a QB, but free agent QBs are terrible this season anyway. 16mil can go a long way if used cleverly. |

It was essentially a good football trade. We traded from a position of strength for a position of weakness. - dadeadhead
Actually, we really didn't, we could have drafted a rb in later rounds also to compliment the 3 headed monster we already have.(draft is deep at the RB position this year)
It's just the opposite really with Fred Jackson, Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown.
Now we certainly need to sign a inside linebacker and I would bet my life it will be free agent 31 year old inside backer from the Jets David Harris.
If Rex plans on using more 3/4 defense than 4/3 in his hybrid scheme we will need much more depth at the linebacker position, and I do not believe Spikes will be re-signed for the middle, I think Rex wants his old Jet player. |

Michael - do you think this might open the door for a Foles trade? Bills and Eagles obviously have trade chemistry. I also currently reside in Philadelphia, and the word on the street since even during the season was that Chip was going to give up a lung if that's what it took to get Mariotta.
