Stéphane Waite, and people would complain yes because since he joined, Price is a much better goaltender. He was the goalie coach for Crawford and Niemi in Chicago when they won the cup.

And to boot, he's from my hometown!

When Pierre Groulx left, people discussed it. It was even worse when Roland Melançon (who's in Vancouver currently IIRC) was booted from the team.

Groulx seemed to be more of a cheerleader than a goalie coach. He was there because he got along with Price.

Waite is there because he's competent and he had done wonders with average goaltenders in Chicago.
