A QB for the next 6 or so years might say different not a huge fan of him but he can move the team down the field, that is something that EJ can't do. Maybe the cap hit means he won't cost as much, the Niners got rid of Harbaugh who is a Kaepernick supporter but the GM and Owner might not be. Maybe Cutler will cost less.

Ej will be as good if not better than kapernick. Don't understand why no on wants to give him a chance. Before he was drafted, he was as good as Russell Wilson and better than kapernick when tested. I would like to see him get the support of the fans and see what he can do with some good support. He was pulled too early last year, but hopefully learned a lot. Our offense was completely impotent last year regardless of who was the qb.

While I don't think EJ will ever be great, there is nothing in his numbers over the first 14 games that says he can't be a middle tier starting QB (IF he develops)
