What's everyone think about Reinhart for next year?
A see a few quite possible options...
-starts in Rochester
-starts here, centering a line in the top9
-plays wing in Buffalo to ease him into the NHL

Those are the most likely options IMO - jdfitz77
I'm probably in the minority here and I've posted this opinion before but I think the best plan for him and his development is to start the year in Rochester. He needs to add some weight this summer but Rochester is the best plan. No reason to rush him.

I agree. I think he needs time in roch. I wish Zadorov could go there as well and pysyk could be up in his place.

Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reports the Bills are "closing in" on a deal to keep free agent OLB Jerry Hughes.
As we just passed along, this deal is likely to pay Hughes in the range of $8.5 million to $10 million annually. Rex Ryan perennially lacked outside pass rushers during his time with the Jets. He hasn't had a dominant once since coordinating the Ravens' defense and coaching Terrell Suggs. Hughes and Mario Williams excelled in a Rex-style defense in 2013 under Mike Pettine, and would be more dangerous than ever in Rex's aggressive scheme.

I wouldn't hate that
I don't know that he necessarily needs to start in the AHL, but I don't think it would hurt him either
I also think starting him on the wing (like the AVs did with McKinnon) is a way to ease him into the nhl as well
If her were to start on the wing, I could see a lineup like this next year
Kane-McDavid-Reinhart
Moulson-Girgensons-Ennis
Hodgson/Foligno-Grigorenko-Gionta

We're reportedly going after Clay from Miami hard as well
Dolphins can match whatever offer he might sign with us though

Pysyk will be here next year for sure
Georges-Bogosian
Zadorov-Ristolainen
Weber-Pysyk
Looks like our opening night defense barring injuries or an addition/subtraction
I could see Ruhwedel as the 7th or maybe re-sign Strachan
Any good UFA defensemen out there besides Boychuk?
I wouldn't mind bringing him in, but he's prob gonna cost a lot
