Charles Clay is no Gronk or ::cough:: Aaron Hernandez. He is not worth over $7 million a year. - Pierceme69
I'm not familiar enough with him so beside reading about him I can't remember watching him play so I guess I have to trust the Bills scouts, Doug Whaley, and Rex Ryan whose teams played twice against him for the last 4-5 years. |

can't be worse then these two bums - gerbe75pts
They're all bums how many more do we need? Quality qbs are rarely traded. There's a problem when a team is ready to get rid of them. Draft hundley or petty and call it a day cause thats as good as its gonna get |

Did anyone else hear that the Bills might bring in Percy Harvin? He wouldn't be terrible to have in the slot. Watkins, Woods, and Harvin. Percy running back punts and kicks. - Pierceme69
if that happens i might be sick he is a cry baby |

Wilson has thrived running it with Beastmode and they have had doo doo WRs. The Bills version with Kap could be potent. - Pierceme69
They did it far less often this year than previously. A) to keep wilson healthy and b) teams have caught on. |

The thing about clay, he is a great blocker
can line up as an H back
causes insane mismatches
his knee was banged up the last 18 months so production dipped
a ton of upside IF used properly

That's what I heard and he was a big name at his draft and never really lived up to expectations. |

unless I am missing something, I still see 20 mil after the restructure of mccoy and hughes
http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/buffalo-bills/
bills cap is adjusted to a tad over 145

They could have had another 1.1 million if they traded/cut Fred Jackson. Sentiments don't win games on Sunday in the Fall. |

"Clay really began to emerge last season, hauling in 69 passes for six touchdowns as the Dolphins began to utilize him in mismatch-creating ways. Will they continue to push the envelope with him? If the answer is yes, then there will be little preventing Clay from 80-plus catches and upward of 900 yards. He has immeasurable upside."

He wants to play another 3 years. They might be doing him a favor by cutting him and allowing him to sign a new contract longer than just next year. He, most likely, will not have the numbers coming this season with Shady as he did last season, will be 35, is already the oldest back in the league. |

he just turned 34 and only has 1279 carries in the NFL
I can still see him being useful for a year or 2, but when it turns, it will be a quick decline |
