I think it is all a plot by TPegs.....get the Bills good fast, now...since the Sabres blow and will for a year or two..then when they are contending, the Bills fall off a cliff.

So in this plot of his he's gonna just let his billion dollar plus football franchise just fall off?

Well in all honesty he could do nothing and still see an increase in the investment.

NFL teams aren't going down in value.

Anyone with an opinion admits we had an awful O-line last year; both our starting guards were ranked at or near the bottom of the whole league. I truly believe adding Incognito and perhaps one other FA guard, adding one more in the draft, combined with hopefully the development of our 2 O-line picks from last year, AND minus Douggy Marrone, will make whomever is playing qb more effective.

EJ has put up typical numbers so far for a 2-year qb but did not get a fair shake last year. Seriously, getting benched after 2-2 record to a seasoned vet, and having the seasoned vet completely crap the bed in Oakland when our playoff berth was on the line was truly disgraceful. We would have missed the playoffs with EJ at the helm the whole season, but at least EJ would have 12 more NFL games under his belt.

I really think unless by some miracle we land Brees that EJ will be the starter and he will do well. Awesome D, awesome run game, competent qb play, good coach=Seattle model.

I agree with this post.

Russell Wilson, in my opinion, is the only non-elite QB that has been very successful in getting his team deep in the playoffs.

Wilson is not a great passer. Where he excels is in moving the pocket and keeping plays alive with his legs. The problem is, Manual has that ability but keeps getting hurt whenever he runs.

EJ looked like a player coached to be spooked at the first sign of trouble and head to the sidelines last year. A result of the Cleveland game his rookie year. Given a little more protection he could make more of the throws he needs to, but he should be at least a little free to use his legs to make things happen when necessary.

I am not opposed to giving EJ this year to start. Honestly, there are no better options.

We all want the Bills to have a great QB. But how many of those are in the NFL? 5? Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, Luck? Maybe Wilson? Those are the QB's getting to the SB.

How do you get them? Draft. Only way. Yes, Brees was a Free Agent, but Manning is was done when Denver got him.

Maybe take a flyer on Petty at some point in the draft.

Both of those guys are third round picks at the earliest, I hope.

Hundley did not have a good year. Some people like Petty. I would take a chance on Petty, but would be worried about if he is a "product of the system".

Some people feel that Colorado St QB, Garrett Grayson, is the third QB drafted.

Id take any of the three and see how it shakes out but we need one to try and start turning this qb position around

Though WR Percy Harvin is in talks with a number of teams, his first visit will be to the #Bills, per a source.

i really don't want this Headache

- gerbe75pts

let me talk you off the edge

1. played for Ryan last year
2. returns kicks
3. team is going to power run, a player like him helps keep the D honest
4. Harvin, Woods and Watkins would be fun to watch
5. it's 12:58 AM and I am bored

It's 6:55 and it is Hockey Night, Sabres fans...this is another key game for them...they have to focus on this game and reach down inside themselves...find that inner-tankness ... This team is built to lose now..no heroics, not now...save that for next year!

Edit: although I still think they draft top 8 next year

14,863 yds, 131-36 td-int, 38-10 w-l, A Super Bowl appearance and an MVP.

The Bills could only be so lucky as to get a guy as done as that.
