why does SF take that? They'll get a lot for him - Sabresfan-365
Why would they get more for him?
He has a HUGE cap hit for being relatively unproven since the book is out on him. |

Yes but i also saw how often you posted how bad EJ was and my question is even if his contract is bad why would they take EJ when they could do (and probably will do) better - Sabresfan-365
Kapernick is Harbaugh's boy not the GM or Owner, they got rid of one, what makes you think the other won't go ? players are leaving that team left and right. EJ is a fresh start for them. |

Ej will be as good if not better than kapernick. Don't understand why no on wants to give him a chance. Before he was drafted, he was as good as Russell Wilson and better than kapernick when tested. I would like to see him get the support of the fans and see what he can do with some good support. He was pulled too early last year, but hopefully learned a lot. Our offense was completely impotent last year regardless of who was the qb. |

They can' take on Revis and try for Kapernick, Revis wants 16 mill or more a year. |

Trades in the NFL are weird compared to the NHL. It's hard to judge what a team would or wouldn't take. - HonkFortheGoose
Right I get that but there other teams who would probably want him. All im saying is if EJ is as bad as i've been lead to believe here then I can't imagine it would be the best offer available to the 49ers. |

EJ is horrible are you kidding, he's going to put one of his WR's in traction one of these days. He can't manage a game let alone move the team down the field. |

Im not saying he won't go, my point was just that a terrible qb + pick probably won't be the best offer. Im sure someone will make a decent offer ( or at least a better one). |

Just wonder if Rex Ryan came out after a game and said he was not impressed with ej and how he didn't play good enough if people would have the same reaction as they do with Nolan and Grigs. |

On this sucky team which scores goals at a frighteningly low pace, to keep your most skilled prospect in a constant stat of upheaval and not playing regular shifts is a disgrace. "Hard to play against" is such a load of garbage. I want to puke when reading our coach talk about it when we have multi-million dollar established pros scoring one goal a month and career AHLers are getting prime time while our future prospects get the message that THEY have to produce or ride the bench. Dis-farging-graceful. |

Neuvirth is in goal for the Isles tonight. They're currently down 1-0 to the Leafs about halfway through the 2nd period. |

Right on. HArd to play against is a great mantra when you are Latvia, playing against Canada, but when your team scores less than all the male ComiCon attendees put together you should be more careful with your skill players...no offence to any comics fans.

Plus "Hard to play against" is open to interpretation. Mario Lemieux may not have punched his way across the blue line, but i'm sure there's plenty of guys who played against him that would say he was hard to play against.

That's a ridiculous over payment. Kaepernick is not that good. |
