When asked why he did it, Kelly responded, “Because I just wanted to, that’s why." - feelingkettle

I don't see anything that is ridiculous personally.

It's not, but that's what Berube told him to say. |

Not a fan of his management of goalies, and scratching VCL over and over and the defense carousel. All the while Umberger lasts 60+ games, not to mention his position on an infertile 2nd powerplay unit has been safe for most of the year. And when he finally scratches him when they have no shot at the playoffs, he says "I felt like it." |

I wasn't in favor of replacing him until the last couple of weeks. His personnel management has become ridiculous. People ripped Laviolette for the goalie carousel and now Berube is pulling this poop for no apparent reason, or none that he'd like to admit. He's lost me and seems like he's lost the team. They aren't playing like they like him, that's for sure.
GOODBYE BEROOBIE - feelingkettle
*Umberger has seen regular PP time all season long.
*Rinaldo was seeing a regular shift on the second line with Raffl and Simmonds all in the name of not breaking up Vandevelde, Bellemare and Lecavalier as a fourth line before taking a 6 game suspension.
*Mason once again for the third straight time hasn't missed a start since returning from re-aggravating an injury.
*After playing terrible, Lecavalier was sat for 7 straight games. It was told by us that Lecavalier was working hard in practice and that he'll return when he feels he's ready. Lecavalier returned and actually produced on the fourth line but was never moved up.
I don't know about you guys but I've worked at jobs where things started off well but after a while I didn't feel like I was getting much of a fair shake and I stopped giving a poop. |

I personally don't see any problem with his management of goalies. I don't think anyone agrees with every move any coach makes. Lecavalier hasn't exactly cemented his spot in the lineup. I think things happen when a coach has limited options, but nobody wants to consider what the alternatives were, as part of the equation. The last, that's just coach speak, and declining to discuss why he chose now. I'm sure he has his reasons for that. Nothing there that is ridiculous in my opinion. To each his own.

I don't get his moves anymore. They just seem like random choices. Or way overdue, or whatever. I don't think it's a good sign that you can't understand his logic, and I think he deserves as much of the blame for this season as the players at this point. |

I can't disagree. For me, I see signs of a Head Coach with a real ego problem. |

Picks are definitely involved, but nobody's sure what. Strongly hinted that it's Foles and the 2oth pick for Bradford and the 10th, plus a conditional 2016 pick. |

Why do you think he scratched Umberger now, at this point in the season? Because I honestly can't come up with one. |

I can't go through another season like this. This season without question has been the worst season I've ever experienced and I'm including the half season two years ago and the last place season eight years ago. |

I've not gotten his moves for awhile. I've mentioned them in general and specific terms often enough. I don't feel that Berube is the only or even biggest problem, but I definitely feel he's part of the problem.

I'm willing to say he's 50% of the problem. The team doesn't even look prepared to play most nights. |

Berube is not the biggest problem.. But I just don't see him being the guy next year.
I for one, would like a new coach for this group. I think Hextall would like to hire his guy. |
