I hope somebody drills that p.o.s. Jamie benn. I hate him and the dallas stars so much... and I don't really know why.

But, but, we 've all been assured that they have no cap issues

Thanks Bill. I agree with the talk about keeping Manning up for the rest of the season. I don't think that CC will be back, or wants to be back. In an interview, he seemed to think that he would be getting more playing time this season.
I would sit Rinaldo, and VL the rest of the season. Let Straka or Scottly L play out the remainder of the season. If Scotty L has contract issues, then Straka would fit right in.
I would also consider sitting out Mason some more games, to let him heal for next season; mentally, and physically. Changing goalie coaches must be still on his mind, and I wonder if his knee is a 100%. His last outing against NJD wasn't his best, so I would give him a break. Besides, it looks like the team has thrown in the towel for whatever reason, so let some others get some playing time.
Yawn, is it tee time yet? I can't wait to see what G will do with his time off this summer...doh. Keep your hands to yourself, and focus on the game G.

Thats fine. I heard Boychuk was only looking for about $2m anyway
- PhillySportsGuy

Of course. Not only that, but it's long been his dream, going back to his days growing up in Cherry Hill, of playing for the Flyers.

Wait....we're talking about Bobby Ryan, right?

Cap space can be created by trading, buying out players, etc.

What about Timonen and Coburn coming off the books?
- jak521

Timonen was a UFA. Trading Coburn and taking back Gudas saved the Flyers 3.5 in cap space for next season, give or take a little change.

Right, it will never be whole again. Pain should be minimum without that torn cartilage in there moving around in ways it isn't supposed to.

Thanks for the cap write-up.

You can do that here! Sit next to a pine tree and a pile of snow. It's practically the same thing!

They want Mason to quit like his quitter buddy Reese.

Mason should play about half of the remaining games. What's the point of playing him more?

Ooooo, a "battle" between two non-playoff teams. Look at me on the edge of my seat with anticipation.
