It's not just about the draft pick and increased odds at #1. I want the team to finish horribly so management doesn't go into the offseason thinking this team is anything more than a bottom feeder. I don't want them to think they are just one top4 defenseman away from a real playoff run. I want them to recognize a rebuild is necessary.

He probably got thrilled to be traded out of columbus to a team like the flyers at first. Dude probably can see a bad team from a mile away from his experience, so he's probably a mix of pissed at the situation, and confident in himself at the same time that he can come out and call out people on the team.
