I'm always jaded when it comes to the Eagles. It's part of why they're third in terms of the teams I root for, and a distant one at that.

I'd say Kelly has balls, but if this experiment blows up, he can still run off to college for a pooppot fulla money

- Jsaquella

pooppot? Settle down, pal.

It's possible. I'm not really knocking Bradford, but he does have his warts, besides injury. That pedigree, could be worth something.

It's hard to get a read on Kelly. Maybe he just felt he needed to rebuild to have a real chance at a SB. Maybe he still goes hard for Mariotta.

Given that the past 4 or 5 days have seen them ditch the biggest, most recongizable names on the team, says to expect the unexpected.

Its a little sad in a way, but I am in no way upset about missing all these games this year due to work.

Why willingly expose myself to such trash.

The sun will rise again for the orange and black, but you see a real big talent deficit on this team. I agree with Mason on calling them out, but maybe after all the years its time to look above the players and at those who build the team.

chips handling of desean jackson forever endeared himself to me.

mccoy was electric, but also was a mouthful of sour milk as well.

its great seeing him flatly telling these guys to (frank) off and pack their bags.

I purposefully took my daughter out on the rink early from work today, missing periods 1 and 2 of the game. That says a lot about my feeling on the team.

(Again, as a non-Eagles fan) I'm not sure what Kelley's end game is... and I was on board with the moves he was making until Foles.. I don't understand why they would trade away a guy who had a fantastic season last year, and made lemonade with what he was given before that.. I think he was just coming into his own as QB. Now Chip traded him for a beat up guy who has never lived up to his hype. So they have him, and buttfumble. Maybe he's taking a chance on Bradford, and don't get me wrong.. he could very well turn his career around in Philly... but that's a pretty big gamble. I think the more likely scenario is Chip wants to go after Mariotta, and will go with Bradford/Buttfumble as a backup plan. Problem is, they aren't guaranteed to get him. I just don't see the sense in trading away one semi-established QB for another, essentially, in Mariotta. Don't get me wrong, I personally think Mariotta will have a much better and longer career than guys like RG3, or anything Jameis Winton can salvage... but It's a gamble.

But hey.. it's his team.. if he see's the need to go hard for Mariotta to fit the system he's establishing, I guess he needs to do it.

This team didn't look alive last night even without RJ.. Just painful to watch
Without question the team MVP has to be Mason

Don't even know if he ends up going for Mariotta, definitely some bold moves, to say the least. Bold ain't necessarily good, though.

If he can't get Mariota then Gurley is the guy they should go for . I watched a lot Of college ball and he can do the job big time.
You would think Chip is going to draft either a QB, RB, or WR with his first pick since he traded away all those skill guys from last year

Mason showed up (as usual) last night despite the Flyers hemorrhaging scoring chances. Seems like the Flyers were looking to go high glove last night a lot and were putting the shots high and wide (one apiece for each member of the line plus a SH try for Read come to mind). They played just badly enough to lose, and it would have been much worse had it not been for Mason.

If he drafts a QB with his 1st pick then he needs to be fired. He just gave up a ton for Bradford.

Read is another guy who has just been horrible. Don't knoe extent of his " injuries" but he has ben lost all year. No finishing ability

As we have seen its seems the NFL does a good job of being tight lipped about player movement.
I just hope Chip really has something up his sleeve.. If he moves Bratford or whatever but he must have some master plan.

Bradford, Cox, Kendricks, 8 1sts, and the entire offensive line for Mariota.

And you know he'd do it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk next year to whatever team takes Mariota. That's the level of allegiance he has.

Read's season has definitely been concerning, but he's definitely looked better since the all star break. But like you said, no finish. The injury thing is crap. If you're ok to play, you need to get the job done.

Does he get to take the Oregon All-Star team that he's assembled here with him?

He probably trades anyone of value to them for peanuts on his way out the door.

It's time to give Emery some starts. The Flyers have no realistic shot of making the playoffs.

Do you think Tyler Seguin looked like the same player last night, as he had looked in the past?
