I love that Mason ripped the team.

Some of these players seem to think they can hide behind the cloak of past accomplishments.

The Ashbee should go to MJL. His stance on Berube is the most unwaivering defense this city has seen since Howe.

Flyers have scored more than 3 goals once in the last 18 games. So not only is the defense core a steaming pile of dung, this team can't score goals. The 5x5 play is absolutely pathetic.

I'm glad Mason called out the team yesterday. They hang this guy out to dry so often its ridiculous.

Hextall has a monumental task in front of him, there are no quick fixes, right now an unacceptable product is being put on the ice.

i get zero pleasure out of this. it makes me sick to my stomach. i live for this time of year, with the playoffs in sight, and dreaming of a cup, finally. to have been in position to make the leap to get in, and have them fall apart so badly, makes me want to go on a 3 stater.

this team needs a massive overhaul. and a u-haul.

Thanks for the compliment, but my support of Berube isn't unwaivering. What it is, is objective. I seem to be one of the few that is willing to look at it without bias, and look at it objectively. I state the same as I did the last time you made a post similar to this, that I'm available to discuss any of my opinions with you.

If you claim that 99% of the blame is on the players, and not Berube, then no.. it's not going to drastically improve them. Improve them, sure. But if the team roster overall sucks, as you have been alluding to in defense of Berube, then no.. a good top pairing isn't going to be the magic elixir.

It is very disappointing. Seeing them 2 pts out of the wild card at one point to now being just about mathematically out of it is frustrating. This team has shown flashes of greatness, but the whole season was take a step forward, two steps back. I hope Hextall has a plan in mind to address the issues.
