I don't think it will be enough to overcome the loss of Stroman. Either Hutchison or Sanchez are going to have to make a big jump this year or jays brass will have to take the hit and acquire a rental. I assume the latter is possible if the jays are holding down a wildcard spot (or a game or two back) a week before deadline day.

Come on, beezer said he had a two hour conversation with Tim Murray. Pretty much all he said, anyone could guess. Why Lafontaine left, he wants ROR, he didn't like Myers (he traded him) and Nolan is a goner. Bunch of educated guesses, that anyone would could have made. - Mentalorgasm5
I haven't heard anything about Nolan, and as far as anything else he posted you will have to ask him.

Months have passed and I still have Miller pretty much pegged to SJ which hasn't changed. The idea behind it is Niemi is moved to a team like WPG.
Sabres room still has Reinhart as top guy on their list. FLA has 4 good offers for trade. VAN, EDM, TOR and WPG in no order. It's all about if they want Ekblad or not obviously.
Ennis deal I spoke of was 15mil/3 years. Ennis camp now wants a 4 year deal at 21.5 million.
Murray has no deal in place yet but had good talks with a few teams about moving into first round. SJ talks were the best. Obviously it depends on whose left but strong feeling is their first bet is Alex Tuch is he's there. If not still make the deal and pick Demko is all scouts agree that hip injuries are behind him.
There has also been thrown around the possibility of getting back into the first round and using that plus another player or pick to move up into top 10 to select Ehlers or Viratanen.
Also had talks with WPG around deal that sends Hodgson+ for Evander Kane
1. Some make great educated opinions.
2. Some make vague comments to support educated opinions
3. Some people Troll
4. Most people are just bullsh!tting to pass the time at work/home
5. Many throw out ludicrous/baseless trade ideas
Nothing is wrong with any of that. But someone is sayin that they take your word for gospel? all i'm saying is L O L - RynoBull
Half of what Beezer said and 89 said was corroborated by my "source" weeks earlier. My cousin in a doctor for the Sabres. I don't seek in the info nor do I claim to be a source, I just get told these things.
1. goalie
2. winger for first line
3. top 4 d man - homiedclown
Agreed on 1, but I don't consider that a top 3 priority because I believe they will be able to somewhat easily fill that role (likely Neuvirth).
For 2, I think we are going to hopefully have to settle with having two top centers and have faith in a combination of Ennis and O'Reilly, along with a young winger in the system making giant strides in the next two years. That or the team misses the playoffs next year and somehow ends up with a top 3 pick.

Free agent WR Percy Harvin is deciding whether to take more visits or sign with the Bills.
It sounds like Harvin liked what he saw in Buffalo. It helps that Harvin is familiar with coach Rex Ryan. If Harvin does decide to take another visit, his next stop will be Foxboro for a meeting with the Patriots.

Free agent OG Erik Pears is drawing interest from the Broncos and Jets.
The Broncos have explored several possibilities at guard since losing Orlando Franklin to the Chargers. Our advice would be to keep looking. Pears graded out as the third-worst guard in the league last season in Pro Football Focus' rankings.

i would think one of his top priorities would be a team with a QB.. i am confused

I think Harvin is reluctant to sign in Buffalo because of Woods, Watkins, and Hogan. Harvin can't afford to become Mike Williams.
1. sign Dubnyk and Neuvirth
2. trade for a RW off of one of the cap strapped teams
3. throw money at Mike Green - mhp
For number 2, if they do get O'Reilly, I'd almost rather wait through the entire upcoming season before trying to get a RW or winger via trade. Reason being, I doubt they make the playoffs next year, and if they don't, they could wind up with a top 3 pick with the new draft lottery rules. I'd wait to see how the 2016 draft order sorts out before trading for another winger. You could get lucky in the 2016 draft.
For number 3, I'd like them to sign both Green and Martin, to high dollar short term deals (3 years max). That would be a big improvement on defense.

Very true. But Mike Williams pales in talent to Percy Harvin. Percy has a choice, and will have to be sold on the team and his role before he signs his contract. My guess is, if he signs here, he won't become a Mike Williams.
