1. Reinhart, clearly.

2. O'Reilly, only because he's actually attainable. Or Sharp.

3. Martin & Green

Sharp is interesting but I'm not willing to pay very much at all for him since he's getting a bit older and will be past his prime once we contend. Same thing for Martin. 2 year deal at most for him.

Sharp is on pace for a little over 40 pts, is a minus 12 on Chicago, rumors he's a locker room cancer, And is at the age where he is more susceptible to injuries. I would say last year was the last really good year of his career. He's on a downslide I wouldnt want him at all.

I would agree that Reinhart is the untouchable.

It certainly appears that Murray has his sights set on O'Reilly. I don't think Hall is moved by the Oilers, they'll look at moving Yakupov first.

The thought of getting Green or Martin is great but it would take a lot of convincing to bring either one here. I would target Oduya or maybe Petry. Up front, assuming the Jets re-sign Frolik, I would go after Carl Soderberg. The Bruins won't be able to re-sign him and it would allow Reinhart to start the year in Rochester.

I really don't think the Sabres have looked any better or worse with Bogosian or Myers. Then again, when a team is this bad, it's really hard to tell anything.

And it's interesting, for all the talk about how Myers and Stafford have provided a shot in the arm for Winnipeg, and that they are thriving under a new system, the Jets have lost ground since that trade. They are now in 9th and both LA and Vancouver have a game in hand on them. Granted, they also have injury problems.

Except, both Myers and Stafford have been consistently contributing.

Bogosian has four assists in 12 games with Buffalo as a do-it-all defenseman, playing significant minutes in all situations. What's more impressive, however, is that Bogosian has a plus-3 rating on a team that allows a lot of goals.

I couldn't be happier with him
Still can't believe the Jets were willing to trade him

Myers still the better defenseman. Big loss on the backend. Next season Myers will be a 40-50 point defenseman.
