I see the Wings are still getting away with interference twice a minute with no calls as well. The year the refs call the rules by the book is the year the Wings don't make the playoffs.

Yeah, at this point I really hope that Downie just takes out Datsuk's knees. Or Zetterberg, I don't care which. And I really only want that to happen because of the dbag trolls in our forum here today who want to act like their team is winning completely out of better play, and not blatant assistance from the officials or constant interference.

Officiating, good or bad, biased or fair, is part of sport. Every team has their respective run-ins w/ questionable calls, etc… What matters, is how the team handles it. The message (to other teams) heading into April/ May, is that PGH hasn’t matured past a complete meltdown when things don’t their way. Sounds like a team of two-year olds. What type of game plan do you think their R1 opponent is going to employ? Right. Stop blaming the refs, and hold the team (players and coaches) accountable for the actions. After all, we’re talking about professional athletes, multi-million dollar millennials, who are paid to perform on the ice & handle in-game adversity. Instead of the refs, where’s the po’d fans w/ the lack of leadership with this team? #87 = C is a joke. Why is it that #87 can never seem to real in the team from meltdown mode to hurting the opponent on the scoreboard? Ref’s fault.
